Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on County Road 19 near Mt Olive Church shortly after 7:00am Sunday.  The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed that male driver of the 2013 Nissan involved as a 23 year old resident of Jacksonville; fortunately, no one was hurt. 

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.

Others responding included the Mt. Weisner Fire Department the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee EMS.  The Cherokee County Rescue Squad had been dispatched as well, but were cancelled before they arrived.
