A Cherokee County woman was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck around 9:30 Sunday night on Highway 68 between Leesburg and Collinsville. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that mishap occurred near the intersection of County Road 17, and involved a 2007 Kia driven by Carolyn Barnhill, age 55 of Centre. No additional information was available regarding the extent of her injuries.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
