A man shot during an alleged burglary is out of the hospital and in the Floyd County Jail.

According to Jail records, 44-year old David Ray Hudgens entered an apartment of Asbury Drive on March 17th with two folding knives and attacked the woman inside.

The woman got a gun and shot Hudgens.

He was released from the hospital on March 22nd and booked on probation warrants and a hold for Chatham County authorities. He was additionally charged with aggravated assault, burglary and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
