Christine Parker McCarley, age 89 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, March 25th in a Summerville, GA nursing home.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Wednesday, March 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. George Cobb officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Randy Cobia, Jim Pickelsimer, Tommy Lee, Phil Stinson, Tommy Minnix, Dewey Blalock.
Survivors include family and special cousins, Judy & Randy Crabtree, Donna & Bruce Wallin and special friends, Randy (Teresa) Cobia and Jan & Dewey Blalock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee McCarley.
Miss McCarley was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Dewey and Lillie Young Parker, was retired from Centre Manufacturing Company, was a past member of the Board of Directors at Cherokee County Historical Museum , she was a volunteer at the Cherokee Crisis Center and was a member of the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cedar Bluff Cemetery Association.
