Mr. George Austin Ashley age 86 of Centre passed away Wednesday March 21st at Manor House Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday March 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Kerr officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Brent Rogers, Dawayne Rogers, Nick Brewer, Keith Brewer, John Twilley and Stacy Littlefield. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews.
Survivors include sisters, Margaret Ann Ashley Rogers and Verlyn Bell Ashley Twilley both of Centre; brother-in-law, Buddy Owens of Cave Spring, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ashley was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late William Aaron and Lenora Ellen Hendon Ashley.
