WEIS Radio News has learned that the Cherokee County Country Club has closed for business and play until further notice.
A sign posted at the facility on Thursday read; “The Cherokee County Country Club is closed for business and play until further notice. There is a special called meeting of all members and stakeholders on March 26th, at 6:00 p.m. This meeting is to discuss the future of the club. If you have questions or concerns please attend the meeting.”
Sources close to the situation tell WEIS Radio that this was a financial decision; however that has not been confirmed at this time.
