On Monday DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen vehicle from a car lot in the Kilpatrick area. Within a day of the investigation having been opened, Investigators followed up on leads that led them to the suspect’s residence in Albertville.
Once investigators arrived at the residence they found out that the vehicle had been scrapped at a scrapyard in Albertville.
As a result 54 year old Marty Spence, 32 year old Randy Spence, and 29 year old Jonathan Spence all of Albertville were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property 3rd, marijuana 2nd and Illegal possession of alcohol.
Randy Spence was also charged with theft of property 1st Degree.
Sheriff Harris says “thanks to the Investigators for working so diligently on this case and being able to close the case within a day.”
