Dustin Coy Helms, age 38 of Leesburg, passed away Monday, March 5th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:AM Wednesday, March 7th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Bankson officiating; burial will follow in High Mound Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Jarett Helms, Houston Helms, Dylan Helms, Shane Reid, Dalton Reid, Randall Sanford, Jeremy Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Kristy Cochran Helms; son, Houston Helms of Jacksonville, FL.; parents, Joel (Denise) Helms of Leesburg; brothers, Jarett (Keri) Helms of Leesburg, Jeremy Brown of Nashville, TN.; grandparents, Penny Helms of Leesburg, Connie & Barbara Entrekin of Gadsden; nephew, Braydyn Helms and niece, Brynlei Helms; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Freida Joy Entrekin.
Mr. Helms was a native of Palatka, FL., a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of Slackland Baptist Church.
