Georgia Jail Inmate Sentenced to Prison Time for Shaking Infected Blood on Jailer

A 35 year old man being booked into jail has been sentenced to prison time in connection with his actions at the Chattooga County, Georgia facility in May of 2017.

According to reports Joseph Henry Young was being restrained by a female jail employee at that time, when he shook blood from an open head wound onto the jailer – allegedly stating that he was infected with Hepatitis and was an intravenous drug user.

Young, a resident of Trion – has been sentenced to a prison term of two years and ten years probation by a Superior Court Judge.
