Mrs. Belinda Hawkins

Mrs. Belinda Hawkins, age 61 of Centre passed away Saturday February 23rd at Cherokee Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday February 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Logan Hurley, Lawson Hurley, Casey Hurley, Ethan Floyd, Ryan Cobb, Joe Cobb.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Steve Hawkins of Centre; son, Tony (Christy) Hawkins of Centre; daughter, Amy (Casey) Hurley of Broomtown; brothers, Ty Cobb Jr. of Centre, Frank (Gail) Cobb and Joe (Darlene) Cobb; 4 grandchildren, Logan Hurley, Lawson Hurley and Tyler Hawkins; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Brenda Cobb Lindsey and Rita Cobb Hudgins.

Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Mobile and the daughter of the late Ty and Miriam Louise Sellers Cobb and a member of Centre First Baptist Church.
