Around 9:45 Friday morning a 2012 Ford Escape collided with a Ford F-350 rollback which was hauling a car at the intersection of the East Bypass and Alexis Road in Centre. 

According to the Centre Police Department accident report both vehicles suffered serious damage; fortunately however, both the driver of the Escape, a 25 year old Gaylesville woman and the driver of the rollback, a 67 year old Collinsville man, escaped injury.  An adult male and an infant in the Escape were also unhurt in the mishap.

The Centre Police and Fire Departments along with Cherokee EMS responded to the scene.

That accident remains under investigation.
