Georgia Man Facing Long List of Charges Here in Cherokee County Following Weekend Arrest

A Georgia man is facing a long list of charges here in Cherokee County after being taken into custody shortly after midnight Saturday.

44 year old James Dale Amos of Marietta, was booked into jail at 12:40am, on the charges of Drug Trafficking, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in addition to Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempting to Elude Police, Speeding, No Drivers License, Failure to Signal and a Bond Revocation.

Another individual was arrested Sunday on drug charges.  Danielle Elizabeth Jones, age 21 of Anniston was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and with Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree.

She was booked into jail shortly after 8:00pm.

Both Amos and Jones currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
