DeKalb County Traffic Stop Results in Two Being Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

A recent traffic stop on County Road 24 in DeKalb County resulted in two individuals being taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

During that stop Sheriff’s Office Deputies and a Geraldine Police Officer quickly learned that James Parrish Bartlett had warrants with the Boaz Police Department; meanwhile the other occupant, 21 year old Logan Elizabeth Johnson, had warrants with Marshall County.

Johnson unsuccessfully tried to run from officers – and as a result, was additionally charged with attempting to elude.

She was transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center while Bartlett was taken to the Boaz Police Department.
