Mr. Billy Frank Lockridge, age 86, of Centre, passed away Wednesday January 24th at UAB Medical West.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday January 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Gerrard officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Casey Young, John Lockridge, Jed Lockridge, Mike Gossett, Mark Gossett, Jake Powell.
Survivors include sons: Jason (Janet) Lockridge of Bessemer, Joel (Michele) Lockridge of Alabaster; brothers J.W. (Nellie Jo) Lockridge of Centre, Jerry (Pat) Lockridge of Centre; grandchildren Lindsey, A.J. and Jessalyn Lockridge, Ethan Custis; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lockridge was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Joe and Lois Keasler Lockridge and was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Whirlaways Square Dancing Club, Centre Quarterback Club and was a veteran of the Korean War.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre 1st United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
