We’ve had reports of the power being out in the area of Northwood Estates in Centre – Sara Bright with Cherokee Electric has informed us that the outage is due to a line being down at Blackwell’s Crossroads. She said that crews are already working to correct the problem and service should be restored shortly.

As of 9:20am, power has been restored to the affected area.
