Centre Police Seeking Assistance of the Public in Locating Missing Person / Additional Photos Posted

The Centre Police Department is currently seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing person.

David Wayne Kay had gone to the Centre ER on Wednesday morning (December 20th) after feeling sick, and was apparently on his way back home afterwards.  He was seen at the red light on the Centre Bypass headed in the direction of Leesburg at approximately 11:00am – moments later at 11:15 – he was seen on Leesburg Police Department Cameras on Highway 68 traveling toward Sand Rock.

He has not been seen or heard from since that time.

David Wayne Kay is 50 years old, stands five-ten (5’10”) and weighs around 180 pounds.  At this time has a shaved head and has facial hair. 

Kay was driving a 1994 green Isuzu 4×4 single cab pickup with an Alabama handicap tag / The AL tag # is THR027

He does not have his phone with him; he had apparently forgotten to take it with him when he went to the doctor that morning.
