The driver of a Ford Taurus that overturned on County Road 83 on Wednesday afternoon fortunately walked away uninjured. The accident occurred just before 2:00 p.m. near Providence Baptist Church just off of Highway 9 South in Ellisville.
Cherokee EMS, Cherokee County Rescue Squad personnel, Ellisville Firefighters, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
The initial call came in as one person having possibly being ejected however the driver was checked at the scene by paramedics after crawling out of the vehicle on her own. We will have more information as soon as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agencies accident is released.
