The driver and a passenger of a vehicle rear-ended by a log truck were taken to the hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries on Thursday morning. The accident occurred just after 11:00 a.m. on Alabama Highway 9 in front of H&L Motors in Cedar Bluff.

Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters in addition to Cherokee EMS responded to the scene. The roadway was shutdown for a brief period of time while paramedics attended to those injured and crews removed the vehicle from the road, the 18 wheeler was able to drive from the scene with only minor front end damage.
