Mr. Danny Lee Slayton age 66 of Cedar Bluff passed away Sunday December 3rd at Erlanger Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday December 6th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating, burial will follow in Faith Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Will Smith, Adam Sharp, PJ Pangle, Mitchell Pangle, Jimmy Slayton, Kaleb Watley and Bobby Weems.
Survivors include wife, Brenda Slayton of Cedar Bluff; sons, Chad (Shay Smith) Slayton of Cedar Bluff and Dell (Michelle Hudgins) Slayton of Cedar Bluff; brother, Charles Edward Slayton of Ball Play; sister, Audrey Haggard of Centre; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlin, Lance, Holly, Austin, Will, Levi, and Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Reece Slayton and Camber Riley Slayton; several nieces and nephews; special nephew, Johnny Slayton.
Mr. Slayton was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late James Clyde and Minnie Elizabeth Hamilton Slayton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
