A Wellington man has been arrested in connection to the theft of a handgun, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin 46 year old Jimmy Ray Green of Wellington, is charged with one count of second degree theft of property.
Green allegedly stole a Smith and Wesson, .40 caliber, handgun from the Owls Hollow Shooting Range. The gun was taken when the victim was downrange making adjustments to a target.
The handgun was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
