Three Georgia residents were arrested locally on drug charges Saturday.

Davonte Malik Boyd, age 22, and Malachi Chad Chang-Smith, age 21, both of Lawrenceville, and Druquez Vontra Moody age 21 of Atlanta, were all charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. 

Boyd was additionally charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Moody was charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

Moody and Chang-Smith were booked into jail just before 4:00pm, and Boyd was booked in just prior to 7:00pm. 

All three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
