At around 8:20 Wednesday morning dispatchers were notified of an apparent accident by a motorist traveling along County Road 19.  Those responding to that location found a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a wreck sitting by the roadside however no one was located nearby.

Moments later, just prior to 9:00am Cedar Bluff firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle wreck on Alabama Highway 9 north near County Road 51 – where a vehicle had left the roadway and gone into the woods.  Again, no driver was found at the location.
