Mary C. Tidwell

Mary C. Tidwell, 66, Collinsville, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at the V.A. Hospital.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with burial in Hunts Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Tidwell will officiate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mel and Lois Slusher, and brother, James Slusher.

Mrs. Tidwell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where she was an Army Corpsman.

She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She loved cross-stitching and sewing in her spare time. Most importantly, Mary was a child of God who lived her life for the Lord after being filled with the Holy Ghost over 37 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Gene A. Tidwell; sons, Jason (Dawn) Tidwell, Joshua (Sonia) Tidwell; daughter, Jeana (Rob) Siffles; grandchildren, Justin Tidwell, Jaymison Tidwell, Chase Ponder, Jacob Ponder, Jonan Siffles, Jayden Siffles, NaKiah Butler, Sareck Siffles, Jairren Siffles, Joshua Duque; brothers, Richard Slusher Raymond Slusher; sister, Donna; sister-in-law, Sharon Chitwood; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Casketbearers will be grandchildren.
