On Halloween, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a couple in the Rock Run community in connection with four burglaries in addition to drug charges.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver stated that Scott Frederick Wade, age 43 and Veronica Deraine Wade age 46, of a County Road 793 address, were charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree, Theft of Property 3rd Degree, two counts Theft of Property 2nd Degree, and four counts of Burglary 3rd Degree plus Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A search warrant was executed at the residence, with a large amount of stolen merchandise property being recovered from the burglaries.

Both were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 3:00pm, where they remain awaiting a bond hearing.
