Police have now released a still photo taken from video footage, of the vehicle they feel may have been involved in a serious “hit and run” occurring on Monday, October 16th.  Around 12:20 that morning the 39 year old female victim, a resident of Gadsden was struck by an unknown vehicle and left critically injured.  The incident took place on East Broad Street near the intersection with Padenreich Avenue.

The vehicle in question is thought to be a late 1990’s model sedan, light in color – possibly a Crown Vic or a Grand Marquis.  The vehicle should have some front end damage.
