During their October meeting, members of the Coosa Landsharks Parrot Head Club brought donations to benefit the Cherokee County Humane Society.  A variety of items including wet and dry food, cat litter, shampoo, Clorox and dental hygiene treats with a combined value of more than $200.00 were donated.

The Coosa Landsharks Club is a member of the Parrothead’s in Paradise organization which is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and improving the environment that is also active in community oriented projects and concerns as a means of social interaction with like-minded people interested in the lifestyle and music of Jimmy Buffett and a tropical spirit.

The Coosa Landsharks meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.
