Mrs. Marilyn Vonnelle Rogers, age 82, of Centre, passed away Tuesday October 10th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Thursday October 12th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at Hebron of Key Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include sons Calvin W. Hunter of Centre, Clinton L. Hunter of Centre; brothers Clyde Abernathy of Adairsville, GA., Wayne Abernathy of Acworth, GA.; sister Kay Chapman of Cartersville, GA.; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rogers was a native of Centre, the daughter of the late Harmon and Hazel Talbot Abernathy, and was of the Baptist faith.
