Joan Marie Laney, age 80 of Centre passed away on Sunday, October 8th at her daughters home in Gadsden.
Survivors include her daughter, Holly Laney of Gadsden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Laney. Mrs. Laney was a retired receptionist at Centre City Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
