Joyce Reagan

Joyce Reagan, 88, of Hixson, Tennessee  (formerly of Collinsville, Alabama) died peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2017, at Memorial North Park Hospital in Hixson, Tennessee surrounded by family.  Born June 15, 1929, in Collinsville, Alabama, she is preceded in death  by her parents, Benson Andrew and Audrey (Styles) Blackwell, and her late husband Clifford Reagan of Collinsville, Alabama.

Joyce meant a great deal to a lot of people.  She was Aunt Joycie, Mother, Grandmother, a caregiver, loving friend and devoted servant to the Lord.  She had many gifts, but her greatest gift of all was her love for her family and her friends.  Joyce truly had a servant’s heart and gave freely and joyfully to those she loved.

Survivors include children, Patsy (Phil) Crabtree; Vickie Ragsdale; Benny (Paula) Reagan; and Mark Reagan. Six grandchildren are Chris (Peggy) Angel; Bridget (Chris) Day; Sean Crabtree; Jennifer (Jody) Carter; Jessica Reagan; and Lauren Reagan.  She was blessed with 8 great grandchildren: Rosemary, Lilly, and Abby Angel; Sam, Charlie, and Eloise Day; Jack and Ava Carter and her special pet (Prince). She is also survived by her brother, Johnny (Faye) Blackwell, and sisters Elaine (Roy) Brown, and Glenda (Harold) Bobo, and many special nieces, nephews and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, from 11am-1pm at Black Creek Baptist Church, with funeral service to follow at 1pm with interment at the Black Creek Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial donations/in lieu of flowers may be made to the Black Creek Church or Cemetery fund, 244 Black Creek Rd., Collinsville, AL  35961.
