Mr. Jeffrey Allen Ray age 54 of Sand Rock passed away Thursday October 5th at Gadsden Regional Hospital.
A private family service will be 1 PM Saturday October 7th at Perry Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Nation and family members officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers include Michael Pierce, James Carver, Jerry Byram, David Dilleshaw, Eric Witt, John Chambers, Johnathan Beggs and all co-workers at AC Services.
Survivors include wife, Julia Barrett Ray of Sand Rock; daughter, Kristin Ray of Auburn; parents, Cindy and Plug Ray of Centre; brother, Kevin Ray of Sand Rock; cousin, Sheri Stallings of Leesburg; nieces, Kelsey Barrett, Emmerson Barrett, Isabella Barrett and Emily Ray; nephew, Kyle Ray; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Ray was a native of Cherokee County and was a member of First Baptist Church Centre.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to America Cancer Society or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
