Two Hurt in Wednesday Morning Wreck Just East of 411 Bypass / UPDATED

Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash just east of the 411 Bypass at approximately 9:35 Wednesday morning.

Both the driver of the vehicle, 60 year old Glenda Brock, and a passenger, Jennette Cox, age 68 – both from Horton, Alabama – were taken by ambulance to Cherokee Medical Center.  Brock was then air-lifted from there to a Huntsville-area hospital for treatment.

Those responding included Centre Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
