Deborah Jordan Abbott, age 66 of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, October 1st at Nolands Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, October 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold O’Neal officiating; burial will follow at 3:PM in Henagar Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Shannon Floyd of Piedmont, Shane Mobley of Centre; daughters, Misty (Chris) O’Neal of Centre, Somone Cromer Sprayberry of Piedmont; sisters, Karen (Bryan) Oliver of Geraldine, Darlene (Jack) Bishop of Maryland; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Abbott was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Robert Alton and Ruby Malone Stewart Sanford Jordan, was a CNA and was of the Baptist faith.
