An Adairsville, Georgia woman was placed under arrest by Cedar Bluff Police, charged with DUI at the scene of a single-vehicle accident Thursday night on Alabama Highway 68 East.

Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters – along with Cherokee EMS and Alabama State Troopers,  responded to a report of an accident at Harton’s Store after someone had called stating that a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.

66 year old Kathy Brock McGill was taken into custody at the scene and then transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center where she was booked in on a DUI charge at 9:04pm

Her bond has been set at $500.

Fortunately, no one was injured and no other vehicles were involved.
