Very little information is being released at this time however, it has been confirmed that a serious two-vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in a construction zone along I-759 in Gadsden. According to the Gadsden Police Department that wreck took place at 2:05pm in the area of Black Creek Parkway and Big Wills Creek with at least one person receiving serious injuries in the crash.
WEIS Radio News has learned that at least one individual was air-lifted from the scene.
That incident remains under investigation, and at this point, no further information is being released by authorities.
