The name of the accident victim hasn’t been released however some additional information is now known regarding the ATV accident taking place Monday afternoon in Cloudland, just east of the Alabama state line; the accident reportedly took place in a wooded area near the east fork of the Little River, with emergency responders accessing the victim from Highway 48.
According to a deputy on the scene the female victim apparently flipped the ATV – stabbing the handlebars into her leg.

She was transported from the scene by Redmond EMS to the ball fields at Menlo, where she was air-lifted by LifeForce to a Chattanooga area hospital for treatment.
The accident took place around 4:00 that afternoon.
