One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning on Highway 68 near the intersection at County Road 151 in Sand Rock.

Those responding to the scene included Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, Sand Rock Fire Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama State Troopers.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the accident involved a 2005 Nissan being driven by a 17 year old female resident of Collinsville.  That report listed the juvenile as being hurt in the mishap but no additional information was included.

The cause of that wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
