Mrs. Lucille Evatt age 90 of Collinsville passed away Monday August 7th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday August 8th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating, burial will follow in Hunt’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include John Smith, Lee Smith, Edward Smith, Eric Watson, Bron Tierce and Todd Tierce.

Survivors include son, Ralph (Wanda) Reese of Centre; sister, Mildred Smith of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren, Mirandi (Eric) Watson of Black Creek, Monica (Andrew) Fell of New Mexico, Destini Haven Reese of Centre, Bron Tierce and Todd Tierce; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Reese and Alvis Elliott.

Mrs. Evatt was a native of Etowah County and the daughter of the late Harvey Monroe “Jack” and Josie Hooper.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hunt’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
