Mrs. Patricia Anthony age 80 of Centre passed away Monday July24th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday July 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel burial will follow in Providence Cemetery on Highway 9. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Survivors include son, Marlin Simmons of Centre; daughters, Charlotte Simmons of Centre and Linda Hawkins of Piedmont; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband H. F. Anthony; brother, Joe Callen; sisters, Evelyn Burkhalter, Doris Higginbotham and Mildred Bishop.
Mrs. Anthony was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Allison and Bertha Jennings Callen and was of the Baptist Faith.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the family.
