According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County deputies and investigators arrested six individuals on burglary charges this week. Investigator Michael Green arrested Cody W. Brown, 28, of Piedmont on Saturday, July 15, 2017, in connection with a Spring Garden burglary. Others are expected to be charged in that case soon.

The following Wednesday, Deputy Daniel Money arrested 23 year-old Alexander W.

Mayer, of Centre for third degree burglary and fourth degree theft of property.

Four people were taken into custody in connection with a burglary in the Cedar Bluff area on Thursday. Deputies and Cedar Bluff Police responded to a residence where the four were staying without permission.

Two of the four were juveniles and taken into custody for the juvenile probation office. Keaton S. Kilgro, 18, of Collinsville and Seth W. Tucker, 18, of Prattville were both arrested and charged with third degree burglary.

All of the adults were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
