One person was killed and three others transported for treatment of injuries sustained in a wreck taking place on Taylor’s Ridge in Chattooga County, Georgia early Thursday morning.

We’ve learned that two pickup trucks were involved in a head-on collision – with Chattooga County resident Opal Vaughn of Summerville being fatally injured. Three others were taken by Redmond EMS to area hospitals all reportedly suffering serious injuries.  That accident occurred around 7:00am EASTERN, with Redmond EMS, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Department of Transportation, Chattooga County Deputies and several County Fire Departments responding to the scene.

The cause of that accident is currently under investigation.
