One person was taken to Floyd Medical Center by Cherokee EMS units after being involved in a single vehicle rollover on Highway 411 North near Hill’s Store on Saturday morning.

According to reports, the victim was ejected from the vehicle after striking a power pole sending telephone lines to the ground and causing damage to the power lines. The McCords Fire Department, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, Cherokee EMS, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene.
