There was a two-vehicle accident between Centre and Cedar Bluff near the Mobbs furniture location on Cedar Bluff Road at 10:28 Thursday morning.
According to Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship the mishap involved a 2008 Ford Explorer Sports Trac driven by Herman Glass of Leesburg and a 1998 Chevy s-10 pickup truck driven by Troy Lewis of Cedar Bluff.
Chief Blankenship said that both men were taken to the hospital by Cherokee EMS for treatment of injuries. Blankenship also informed us that moments after that accident a second accident occurred also on Cedar Bluff Road near the intersection with Iris Dr. – that accident report has not yet been complete, at least one person was treated for injuries in that mishap.
