Additional information has been released regarding a motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a Chattooga County man over the weekend.    

According to the Rome Post of the Georgia State Patrol, a Berryton man, Calvin Koonce, was riding a dirt bike north on Filter Plant Road Saturday, when it collided with a Ford F-150 truck as the pickup attempted to make a left turn onto Rains Circle.

The impact ejected Koonce from the bike, causing him to sustain fatal injuries.

That accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
