Mrs. Willodean Burrows Matthews passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of eighty-four. She is survived by her five children, Don (Gail) Matthews, Pam (Grant) Snell, Raymond (Martha) Matthews, Debbie (Martin) Torrez, and Greg (Shannon) Matthews, as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Lillian Burrows, and her husband, Sgt. John F. Matthews. A private graveside service was held in Piedmont, Alabama for immediate family on Thursday, June 29, 2017
