Units from the McCord’s, Spring Creek, and Ellisville Fire Departments responded to a report of a structure fire at 830 County Road 653 at approximately 10:20 Monday night.
The structure was reportedly fully involved at the time of call.
According to McCords Fire Department Chief Rich Lindsey upon arrival, firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control but remained on the scene for more than two hours performing overhaul and salvage operations.
Cherokee EMS transported one patient to Cherokee Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office as well as the local chapter of the American Red Cross also responded to the scene.
