Oneonta Man Arrested For Using False ID To Obstruct Justice

An Oneonta man has been arrested for using false identity to obstruct justice, 23 year old Raymond Tyler Osborne of Oneonta, is charged with one count of obstructing justice-false identity, which is a felony, and one count of resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, according to Lt. Robin Grant with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office.

Osborne was walking near the edge of Thompson Road, Altoona, when he was asked for his ID.  Lt. Grant was in the area working on a burglary case when Osborne gave him several false identities (names). 

Once his true identity was given, it was confirmed that Osborne had active warrants with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office and Oneonta Police Department.

Osborne was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center for the Etowah County warrants with a $3,000 bond.
