• Glen Russell Usher, age 49 of Rome – Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer
• Nathan Shane Green, age 26 of Gadsden – Failure to appear on the previous charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana
• Daniel DeWayne Whitmore, age 27 of Piedmont – Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree, Public Lewdness and Failure to appear for a seat-belt violation
• David Eugene Hartbarger, age 45 of Gaylesville – Fleeing/Attempting to Elude
• Tyler Gene Dumas, age 19 of Leesburg – Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Currently there are 119 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.

These arrests were based on Probable Cause. All suspects are consider innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
