Things apparently didn’t go according to plan for one man Tuesday evening, when his truck which was pulling two Jet-skis, went off the boat ramp, and kept going, into the water at the Leesburg Landing. The truck wound up submerged along with both jet skis, which were strapped to the trailer
Leesburg Police Officers and EMA Director Shawn Rogers were called to the scene. Rescue Squad Divers assisted by diving into the water and hooking a cable to the vehicle so it could be pulled out.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
