Three people – two from Cherokee County, one from northwest Georgia – were arrested on drug charges locally overnight.
According to the information posted on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website Dalton Lee Huggins, age 21 and Dayton L. Huggins, age 26, both of Cedar Bluff, along with a 47 year old Rome, Georgia resident, Russell Mostella – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All three were booked into jail between the hours of 1:30 and 3:00am Tuesday, where they remain awaiting a bond hearing.
