Mrs. Miriam Louise Sanford, age 84 of Centre, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in the Piedmont Healthcare Center.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Glenn Studdard and Rev. Billy Sexton officiating; burial will follow in Vann Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers include Austin Goodwin, Steve Cobb, Scotty Cobb, Ryan Cobb, Logan Hurley, Lawson Hurley, Ethan Floyd.
Survivors include sons, Ty Cobb, Jr of Centre, Frank (Gail) Cobb of Piedmont, Joe (Darlene) Cobb of Centre; daughter, Belinda (Steve) Hawkins of Centre; brother, Ernest (Dorothy) Sellers of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Lela (Jon) Updegraff of Central Point, OR, Marie (Frank) Frankowski of Houston, TX; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ty Cobb and Robert Sanford; daughters, Brenda Lindsey and Rita Hudgins; grandson, Tommy Lindsey and granddaughter, Tammy Sanford.
Mrs. Sanford was a native of Atmore, AL, the daughter of the late Earnest and Fannie Lee Sellers and was a member of Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church.
